Forty nine degrees

Today it was hot.

I am sick of hanging out in my hotel room but that's where the aircon is and there's nothing else to do in Port Hedland when it is so stinkingly hot. (Not that there'd be much to do if it weren't so hot.)

The work airconditioner decided not to work this afternoon, so after an hour of returning calls etc it was back to the room, where the GWN news told me it got to 49 today. That would explain it...

It's now nearly eight and still very hot. The foyer where I'm typing is airconditioned but not in an Arctic way so I might leave now.

I have nothing else to say because the heat has melted my brain.

Current Mood:

I honestly don't understand how anyone can live in that kind of heat.

Neither do I. I think it was the hottest day recorded here but still. Air conditioning in the court and hotel has been my saviour.

Yesterday was only 37, apparently, but I just stayed indoors all day venturing out only for a swim. If you don't have air con 41 is crap at night. Once I got back from work I was OK because the hotel air con is working.

I just don't think I could go out at all. I'm very glad that the hotel air con is working for you.
